Privacy Policy
Last updated September 17, 2026
Route Maker Pro ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who it's shared with, and the choices you have — written in plain language rather than legalese.
Information We Collect
• Waitlist signup: just your email address, so we can notify you when the app is ready. • Account info: name, email, and phone for admins and drivers at businesses using the app. • Customer info: name, phone, email, and address that a business enters for its own customers/stops, so routes can be planned and customers can be notified. • Location: precise GPS location from a driver's device, but only while that driver has an active route open — never in the background while off duty. The app shows drivers a clear ON ROUTE / OFF DUTY indicator so it's always obvious which is happening. • Photos: before/after job photos and "unable to complete" proof photos, each with the time and GPS location they were taken. • Notes and voice notes: text notes drivers/admins add to a stop, and short voice recordings drivers may record instead of typing (sent once to Google's speech-to-text service to convert to text, then discarded — see "Third-Party Services" below). • Usage data: which screens are opened and basic sign-in activity, used internally to understand which features are actually used. This is never sold or shared, and is only visible to us, never to other companies using the app. • Crash/technical reports: if the app crashes, basic technical details (device type, OS version, stack trace) are sent to our crash-reporting tool so we can fix the bug — no photos, notes, or customer data are included. • Subscription info: which plan your company is on and when it renews. Payment itself is handled by Apple (App Store purchases) or Stripe (purchases made outside the app) — we never receive your card number or Apple Account password (see "Third-Party Services" below). • Website traffic: our marketing website (routemakerpro.com) uses two kinds of analytics. Vercel provides cookie-free, aggregate counts (page views, general location by country). Google Analytics, which we use to understand which of our Google ads bring people to the site, sets cookies and records the pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and browser, and whether you create an account — it does not receive your name, email, or anything you do inside the app after signing in. See "Your Choices" for how to opt out.
How We Use It
To notify you when Route Maker Pro launches, and to run the app's core features: planning and optimizing routes, assigning and dispatching drivers, confirming stop arrival/completion, and keeping customers and office staff informed. Your account, route, customer, photo, and location data is never used for advertising, and we don't build profiles about you to sell or share. The one advertising-related thing we do is measure our own website: which ads bring visitors, and whether those visits turn into sign-ups.
Third-Party Services
Running the app requires sending some data to a small number of specialized services, each used only for its specific job and never resold to anyone. None of your app data goes to advertisers; the only advertising-related service is Google's website measurement, described below: • Supabase — hosts our database, login system, and stored photos. • Google Maps Platform — turns addresses into map locations and draws routes/directions. • Google Cloud Speech-to-Text — converts voice notes to text (see "AI Services" below). • Google Cloud Translation — translates stop notes into a driver's chosen language (see "AI Services" below). • Anthropic (Claude) — reads address lists out of photos an office uploads, and condenses past stop notes into short Route Memory summaries (see "AI Services" below). • Mapbox — an alternate address lookup used for bulk spreadsheet imports. • GraphHopper — calculates the fastest stop order for very large routes. • Resend — delivers route/stop email notifications to office staff and, if a business turns it on, to their own customers. • Apple (App Store) — processes payment for subscriptions purchased in the iOS app, under Apple's own privacy policy; we never see your payment details. • RevenueCat — validates App Store purchases and tells us which plan a company has paid for. Receives your App Store purchase history, your company ID, and a device identifier — nothing about your routes, customers, or location. • Stripe — processes payment for subscriptions started outside the app; card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. • Expo/EAS — delivers push notifications and app updates. • Sentry — collects crash reports, as described above. • Vercel — hosts our website and its cookie-free traffic analytics. • Google Analytics and Google Ads — on our website only, measure which ads bring visitors and whether a visit leads to a sign-up. Uses cookies; receives pages visited, approximate location, device/browser details, and a "signed up" signal with no name or email attached. Never receives anything from inside the app. All of these are established providers with their own security practices; we only send them the specific data each needs to do its job.
AI Services
A few features use third-party AI services to work. In each case we send only the specific data the feature needs, the provider processes it solely to return the result, and none of it is used for advertising: • Voice notes — when you record a voice note, the audio recording is sent to Google's Cloud Speech-to-Text service to be converted into text. • Note translation — when a driver's language differs from the language a note was written in, the note's text is sent to Google's Cloud Translation service to be translated. • Address extraction — when an office uploads a photo of a route sheet or address list, that image is sent to Anthropic's Claude service to read the addresses out of it. • Route Memory summaries — past stop notes are condensed into a short practical summary using Anthropic's Claude service. In the mobile app, each feature that sends your data to an AI service asks for your permission before the first time it does so, naming the provider and the data involved — and declining simply skips that feature (for translation, notes are shown in their original language). We use these providers' business APIs under their commercial data-processing terms, which provide the same or greater protection for your data as this policy: they process it only to return the requested result, do not use it to train their models, and may not use it for any other purpose.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't share your account, route, customer, or location data for advertising. The only advertising-related sharing is the website measurement described above, which tells Google that a visit from one of our ads happened and whether it led to a sign-up — not who you are. Data is otherwise only sent to the third-party services listed above (to operate the service), to a business's own staff and, if that business enables it, to that business's own customers (e.g. an "on my way" or completion-confirmation email/photo) — or if required by law. A business's data (customers, routes, photos, notes) is never visible to any other business using the app.
Data Retention
We keep account and route data for as long as an account is active, so route history stays useful for reference. If you close an account or ask us to delete data, we remove it within a reasonable time except where we're required to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.
Your Choices
You can ask to be removed from the waitlist, or have your account or customer data corrected or deleted, at any time — just email us below. Drivers control their own location visibility directly in the app: it's only ever shared while a route is actively open, never while off duty. To opt out of Google's website measurement, block or clear cookies for routemakerpro.com in your browser, install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or adjust ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Opting out has no effect on your Route Maker Pro account or the app.
Children's Privacy
Route Maker Pro is a business tool for delivery/service companies and their staff. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections and access controls that keep each business's data separated from every other business's — to protect the information you provide. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
